Canned Soup Recipes
Beef Taco Bake
Makes: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 can (10.75oz.) Condensed Tomato Soup
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- ½ cup milk
- 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas or 8 (6 inch) corn tortillas, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring frequently to break up meat. Pour off any fat.
Stir the soup, salsa, milk, tortillas, and ½ cup of the cheese into the skillet. Spoon the soup mixture into an 11x8-inch (2-quart) shallow baking dish. Cover
Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Broccoli & Noodles Supreme
Makes: 6 Servings
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 can (10.75oz.) Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets
- 2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles or any short cut pasta (penne, macaroni, shells)
Directions:
Stir the soup, milk, black pepper, sour cream, cheese, broccoli and noodles into a 2-quart casserole. Cover
Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Replace dish into oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
*Tip: Add in 1 lb. of cooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut up into 1-inch cubes before baking to make a main dish!
Creamy Souper Rice
Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/3 cups water
- ¾ cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
Directions:
Stir the soup, water and rice in a 1-quart casserole. Cover. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Stir. Continue to bake for 30 minutes more or until the rice is tender. Stir the rice before serving.
