Hours of operation

The front doors open  at 9:00 AM Monday - Friday and 5:15 PM on Monday Evenings. It unnecessary to be here prior to our opening times.

Interview hours

Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Monday Evenings: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. *

To ensure same day service, it is helpful if you arrive 30 minutes before the deadline.

* Must be working or going to school full-time during the day to be eligible for the evening program. Proof of job or school schedule is required.

Food distribution hours

How do I qualify for food assistance?

Every household MUST go through an interview process to establish eligibility for assistance. St. Joe's ensures the privacy of each client's personal information. Personal documentation brought to interviews are never copied. Personal information is kept in-house on a secure system that are only accessible by licensed users.



Documents Required for Interview

Photo ID - To ensure the security of our clients, this is to verify that the person holding it is indeed who he/she claims to be.
Driver’s license, state issued identification card, passport, school picture ID, or resident alien ID card/I-94 card

Proof of current address - This is to verify that the address is within our service area. Any addresses outside of our service area will be referred to the nearest food agency.
Utility bill, current lease, or cable/satellite bill. All proof of address MUST be current

Social security cards - The purpose of asking for a SS card is to document the number of the people in the household. We only store the last 4 numbers of each individual's SS number. This will serve as a unique identifier when searching for records.
ORIGINAL social security card, letter of decision from Social Security Administration, application for replacement card, or tax return with SS number.
Must have social security cards for each member in household

Proof of household income - Eligibility is based on income levels. Individual consideration is given in varying circumstances.
Wages from a job (paystubs), child/spousal or family support and alimony, unemployment or worker’s compensation, tribal income, social security and SSI, food share, pension, interests, or dividends
