Fighting Hunger. Sustaining Hope.

Back Pack Food Assistance Program

St. Joe’s Back Pack Food Assistance program supplies food to over 700 students in six school districts in the Fox Valley area (over 25 schools). Students are identified by school counselors or principals who recognize that these children may not have a good nutritional support system at home.

The premise of the program is to be sure that children in need have food to sustain themselves throughout the weekend. The program runs throughout the school year.
