Power Orange Smoothie

Makes 4 servings, 4 ounces of milk per serving.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fat free or lowfat milk
  • 1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 to 6 ice cubes


Directions:

  1. In a blender combine milk, orange juice concentrate, powered sugar and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth.
  2. With the blender running, add ice cubes one at a time, through open lid; blend until smooth and frothy.
  3. Pour into tall glasses; serve immediately. Yields 1 quart. This shake can also be poured into freezer-pop containers for a dreamsicle snack.
