Power Orange Smoothie
Makes 4 servings, 4 ounces of milk per serving.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fat free or lowfat milk
- 1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 to 6 ice cubes
Directions:
- In a blender combine milk, orange juice concentrate, powered sugar and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth.
- With the blender running, add ice cubes one at a time, through open lid; blend until smooth and frothy.
- Pour into tall glasses; serve immediately. Yields 1 quart. This shake can also be poured into freezer-pop containers for a dreamsicle snack.
