Steamed Vanilla Dream
Serves 2*
Ingredients:
- 2 cups low fat milk
- 2 pinches of freshly ground nutmeg
- honey to taste (optional)
Directions:
- Put the milk in a small saucepan. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and add the bean and seeds to the milk.
- Heat and stir the milk over medium heat until the milk begins to boil.
- To froth the milk, put the hot milk in a blender and blend vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Serve immediately in mugs and top with a pinch of fresh grated nutmeg.
- Add honey to taste.
