Food is what drives us, and it's no surprise that much of our food supply comes from donations. We welcome nonperishable food items all year long, but sometimes our generous supporters do not know exactly what we need. In order to remove the guesswork around food donations, we are focusing on a specific need each month.

April’s Food of the Month is: Cereal!

Did you know....?

We distribute close to 1,000 boxes of cereal per month, which means we distribute about 12,000 per year!

We have a goal of collecting 1,000 boxes of cereal during the month of April.

Please help us reach our goal!

Fun ways to collect Food of the Month donations include

  1. A trip to the grocery store with friends or family! See how many food of the month items you can fit in your arms, whoever can hold the most gets treated to ice cream. Then celebrate by going out to dinner together.

  2. Have everyone bring a food of the month item to your next backyard bbq or bonfire.

  3. Have a birthday party coming up? Have everyone bring a food of the month item as a party favor for St. Joe's!

  4. Work event coming up? Have each team create a structure of food of the month items. Have staff vote for the best creation, and that team wins lunch!
